
Here's an idea for a real vegan pizza. You can make it vegan by adding vegan salami and cheese, but a real vegetarian pizza doesn't have any substitutes.
You can make the dough yourself or use ready-made dough. I buy mine ready-made from a nearby bakery, and their dough is perfect for pizza.
First, spread tomato puree evenly over the shaped pizza base. If you are a fan of substitutes, you can add tofu or some kind of vegan cheese.
Top with other ingredients such as roasted bell peppers, chopped olives, pickled cucumbers, mushrooms, and whatever else you have at home.
Bake in a hot oven; the higher the temperature, the faster and better the pizza will bake.
Lenten pizza is filling and suitable during Lent, but not only then.
